This big cat was carved for a friend who was going to be taking a journey to Florida over a winter several years ago; the same friend, in fact, for whom I designed some CD cover art. In the world of not-so-fun facts, this guy, who is the state animal of Florida is also wicked endangered, with only about 160 panthers left in the wild.
