woodcut. 8x10. The conceptual brother of my arm print, this was the first proper piece I tried in wood. While it is far from perfect, I learned so much about how the qualities of the wood [specific and general] influence what you can do with it. A lot of planned detail got lost in the carving, but I've learned to appreciate the sparseness, as well as the "static" from the wood. It was also a great challenge to try to render this with minimal lines without produce a cartoony effect.
